ORDERS AND PAYMENT
We love to fulfill your orders but please give us a minimum of 48 hours notice - it really helps. If it’s a large corporate order, we request as much notice as possible! However, if you do have a more urgent order, just ring us on 01279 876661 and we’ll let you know if we can sort that for you.
When your order is placed, we process the payment. If you really need to pay by cheque, just contact us to liaise - but do allow an extra 7 days for payment to go through before we dispatch.
We include your gift message if your order is for someone else but please don’t ask for messages that turn our scone gnomes blue!
Most of our orders are sent by speedy overnight courier for a.m. delivery - and we can deliver from Tuesday to Saturday (excepting days following Bank holidays) to most of mainland UK. For areas local to CM6 1RF postcode, when possible we will also deliver on Sundays/ Mondays too. There are weekend/Bank holiday delivery surcharges. We will prepare and send out the delicious hamper boxes for you. It is your responsibility to provide the correct addresses and ensure someone is available to take in the delivery from 7.30am to 12.30pm please on the agreed day (whether it’s for yourself or as a gift to another). Once your given delivery address is booked in with the couriers, it cannot be altered. If the location is hard to find or requires particular delivery instructions, please let us know in advance. If the courier attempts delivery and there is no answer, the hamper box is usually returned to the local distribution depot for you or the recipient to make arrangements to collect. That’s obviously best avoided as these are perishable goods. We cannot send out replacement hamper boxes under these circumstances. We promise that your boxes will leave us in tip-top condition and we also choose our couriers with care and track courier-delivered goods on their journey. However, there may be circumstances beyond our control if the courier causes issues to the delivery, has traffic issues or other such problems. This is very, very rare but can occasionally happen and we would liaise with you in that unusual circumstance, of course.
CIRCUMSTANCES BEYOND OUR CONTROL
There may be unforeseeable circumstances such as severe weather, war, fire, acts of God and other causes beyond our control which force changes/cancellations - and we'd always endeavour to find a solution or liaise with you under such situations. That would also apply to orders beyond our capacity as all products are subject to availability. We use specially designed chilled packaging and get the hamper boxes to you fresh for your enjoyment that day. If goods are passed to a 3rd party outside of this time frame or in an unrefrigerated way, we cannot be held responsible. Safety first!
We have deliberately chosen items that do not actively contain nuts in the hampers but our suppliers of flour and other ingredients never guarantee the absence of traces of nuts and our environment may contain them. If you have any queries about our products or any special requests, let us know, prior to ordering. All our ingredients are made by ourselves or sourced as locally as possible. There may be small variations from hamper to hamper as a result of their freshly-prepared qualities.

After that time, preparations will be underway and we cannot accept a cancellation. As they are perishable goods with a short ‘shelf life’ we cannot accept returns.
